Guest CitizenLee Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Hello folks, Anyone on T-Mobile UK having connection problems today? I can't connect to anything on G, 3G or H... although wifi works fine. I thought I'd see if radio update would help but I'm still having issues. Just wondering if it's a network thing or something to do with my phone? I have a UK G2 Touch running MCR v2.2 with Hello Moto theme and the radio is 63.18.55.06JU_6.35.08.29 but was previously 63.18.55.06_6.35.05.15 until I updated today. I think I'll maybe try a different one now. All was working fine yesterday. Cheers :D Lee EDIT: I just installed 63.18.55.06IU_6.35.08.22 and I'm still having no joy. It's showing 4/5 bars 3G reception too. This is annoying. Edited December 1, 2009 by CitizenLee
Guest spence91 Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 I had a similar problem today. I played around with the mobile network settings, turned it off and on and now it works again. for your info i switched the APN to "T-Mobile UK", username = t-mobile and the password is two characters but i can't remember what it is. Sorry i can't be more helpful. Just try turning it on and off and see what happens.

I've installed 4 different radios today, so the phone has been off and on a good few times now due to reboots etc. Also tried APN settings but nothing seems to work. I think I'll re-instal MCR v2.2 from my SD and take it from there. Cheers, Lee
Guest CitizenLee Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 (edited) Just installed v2.9 and still getting the same problem. I'm away to call T-Mobile :D EDIT: Just called them and there's no network problems in my area. Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be? Edited December 1, 2009 by CitizenLee

Guest CitizenLee Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Let us know what you find out pls. Will do bud, but I'm waiting on one of the experts here to reply with some insight :D In the meant time I'm going to do a complete back-up, wipe and reflash when I get home from work. I cant see any reason why it would be working perfectly yesterday but not today! If I can't get the data connections working the phone is as good as dead to me.
Guest CitizenLee Posted December 1, 2009 Report Posted December 1, 2009 Ok, turns out the problem was my Droidwall settings seem to have wiped themselves, as such the browser and all other apps that require data connection were blocked! I feel a bit stupid now, haha... but at least I know the app does its job. Another good thing is it caused me to finally update to v2.9 Posting this from my phone btw :D
