Guest lutzh Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 Hi, I live in Germany too and it was not that hard to configure the SPV for Vodafone GPRS/MMS- the best way is to get the GPRS settings to the with the Orange CD (smartphone configuration wizzard). And then get the settings for MMS via Google and put them in the slots you find under tools/MMS Setup. Here's a link for all MMS settings for the german providers: http://www.gsmsite.de/mmseinstellungen.htm If you have further questions feel free to ask! Cheers, Lutz
Guest theodotcom Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 this might sound like a stupid question but where can i find the Orange smartphone config wizard?
Guest lutzh Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 Hi .com, on the CD you've (hopefuly) found in the box your phone came in? It's under the tab "Start here" and then the latest entry under "Install Outlook 2000"/"Install ActiveSync 3.6"-->"Smartphone Configuration Wizard" - at least in the version I have here. If you don't find it, let me know, I can mail it to you, it's just 141 k big... You are from Germany aren't you (see its helpful to fill your profile here, makes answering lot easier...)??? Cheers, Lutz

Guest ridha Posted February 25, 2006 Report Posted February 25, 2006 Hi I am from Germany and I have the same problem. I have an SPV C500 (orange France) and I managed to unlock it for use in Germany. At the moment I can use it with D1 sim-card. However, I can use the GPRS to access the internet. Any bright ideas how I can configurate it. Thx in advance regards Ridha
