Media is write protected - help

OK, this is weird.

I just mounted my SD card, but can't copy any files to it, as it says "media is write protected". There's no write protect switch on the actual SD card, and it worked not long ago to copy files onto it.

Also, I can download files through the browser onto the SD card OK, and copy files to it with Astro - this only happens when mounting to my PC through the USB cable attached to the phone.

I've tried different USB ports, but haven't tried different PCs yet.

Any ideas?
