Guest Farmfield Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 So, I didn't RTFM (well, I'm a guy) and of coarse ended up trying to install the Google Navigation-thingie on my Hero during which I uninstalled Google Maps. Well, then I'll just install it again..? Yeah right, it's not in 'market'... So I Google'd for it - you gotta love that intitle:"index of" to fint ftp's - and shure enough I got a hold on Google Maps-package and installed it. But, wait, no multitouch... Ah, that's implemented by HTC, so, as I had no choice, I lived with it. Today I installed the last MoDaCo 3.0 and one of the things I hoped for was to get my multitouch back in Google Maps... But no luck, I still have that +/- thingie... So any idéas how to restore my original maps-package and get multitouch back? It really sucks not to have it, or as I would like to phrase it - Better having multitouch not needing it than not having multitouch needing it... And I might not need it but I want it bad... ;D
Guest uk786 Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 you sure that it initially had multi-touch in maps, never did on mine when I bought it nor do the reviews state.
Guest Callum MR Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 I'm pretty sure Maps never had multitouch on the Hero.
Guest ruph Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 You must be imagining things. Google Maps never had Multitouch on Hero. Not yet anyways.

LOL I'm probably remembering it from my girlfriends Iphone then, but I was sooo sure - as you can guess - that I had it and lost on the Hero... So the answer to the question is; Stop being stupid. :D I will and I'll post the mod's to lock the thread, hehe... Sorry guy's... :(
