Guest ElimGarak Posted December 3, 2009 Report Posted December 3, 2009 (edited) Hey folks, I'm kinda crazy and just bought a Samsung i-900 with all accessoires for 89 EUR off the bay. Well - fairly cheap, if it would work or I could get it working. Unfortunately the latter has yet to be determined. The seller sold it as defective, stating that the phone doesn't get further than the Samsung-logo. From what I read at my superficial research, it's likely, that it can be brought back to life then. I suppose, I can rule out the possibility, that a simple hard reset will do the trick? Whatever, here's my question: It's said, one should use WinXP for flashing. I suppose Win2k would be okay as well? I do have a seperate partition with Win2k still on it. But I'd also have access to Win2k3 on my laptop, however I'd rather use my PC if it's all the same. In case you think there's something I definetely must have read, I'm glad for any hints. bookmarked Paul's guide to upgrading your Omnia to HH1 already Best regards Jens Edited December 3, 2009 by ElimGarak
