App to repeat new MMS alert tone?

I'm used to my old LG phone's behavior in handling SMS and MMS messages. When received one, it would play a short clip once of whatever I chose, then play a reminder "beep" every 60 seconds until I opened the message. I can get my Omnia to do the new message tone, but I can't get anything to function as the reminder "beep". I saw the registry hack that will enable the "repeat" option in the sound settings, just hoping there is something a little more elegant offered by Samsung or a developer that will control my sound settings better that will give me my beep. Any help? Thank you all..
