You download the official Rom and run it over the one you have now? :D :(

If you need to save your contacts just use sprite backup. you can use the backupfile from 6.5 for 6.1 and the trial version is enough to do this.

I changed from 6.5 to 6.1 several times, .. without problems tho :/

Try using a custom rom to downgrade and a official one to update!?
