Guest almark Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 I nearly bought a Nokia 'brick' as some people refer to it. It was a result of finding this forum and reading up on the SPV that swayed me to buy the SPV. I have found the forum to be of great help and I just wanted to say a big 'thanks' to all those that regularly contribute. BTW I bought my phone from Car Phone Warehouse, I had to get a print out of the site that offered it at £89.99 with the £12.99 line rental. Once they confirmed that, they matched it. The only problem was that the SD card was missing. I had read here that the contents of the card was on the CD so I wasn't that bothered, espescially when they gave me a 16MB one to compensate! I'm away for two weeks into the Scottish Highlands, no Internet, few people. By the time I return I hope to see the UK SPV update and your step by step guide on how to indsatll it! Again, thanks all, and I'll see you soon.

Guest almark Posted February 14, 2003 Report Posted February 14, 2003 Back to the red folders after two weeks in the darkest depths of the Scottish Highlands. I had hoped to find the update available by now ? What a surprise to find that it has yet to be released. And yes I did take a few photos in the snow, only to discover that htere was a plastic protective film across the lens  (Nevertheles, they came out OK) I'll post them later.
