OK i got my SPV...works nicely...thanks to my friend in England....a few questions.

Where is the appropriate config area for GPRS and WAP and MMS

I have GPRS working and configured, so I pretty much know where it is...but as for the WAP piece, do I need a WAP proxy and then point it to use GPRS, or do I setup a totally different WAP thing, and where the heck is the MMS settings....saw them once, and have never seen them again in the phone.

GPRS works for all intense purposes, download POP mail works but times out before all mail is receive(must be a timeout setting that needs to be updated or either ATT-GSM is boched), MMS just replies with Failed.

Any help would be appreciated, I have access to all the settings from ATT, they actually have a configure your phone OTA which lists Microsoft Smartphone as an option. Seemingly it does something and sends it to the phone, but I havent gotten MMS set appropriately.

Ok ok...here is what i have found....and what I have working so far:

I went into the Data Connections and dumped all the conns out, all orange stuff. I created the following:

1 AT-T GPRS

CONNECTS TO: The Internet

ACCESS POINT: proxy

User Name: blank

Password: blank

Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0

Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0

IP Address: blank

2 AT-T WAP

Connects To: WAP Network

Access Point: PROXY

Username: blank

Password: blank

Primary DNS: 0.0.0.0

Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0

IP Address: 010.250.250.250

In the Data Connections Main config screen I have the following:

Internet Connection:

AT-T GPRS

Work Connection:

None Available

WAP Connection:

Automatic

Secure WAP Connection:

None Available

Now Under PROGRAMS->ACCESSORIES->MMS Setup I have

AT-T GPRS Selected in the top

IP: 010.250.250.100

Port: 9203

MMSC Address: http://mmsc.mobile.attwireless.net

Message Expiry: Max

Delivery Report: Unchecked

Read Report: Unchecked

Hide Sender: Unchecked

MMS Download: Auto

I can receive SMS, I can surf the web via GPRS, Make calls, receive calls, all is well except for MMS.

I have tried different size MMS's 10k, 34k.

I have ONLY tried sending to an email address as I dont know anyone to test this feature with currently.

I called AT-T and they seemingly had no one to send a test MMS message available, but opened a trouble ticket and said they would make sure that my line is provisioned for MMS. Until then I will try sending an MMS with my SE T68i and see what happens.

Oh yeah, if I go into MMS setup and change the port from 9203 to 9201...I get a quick failure such as failed to send message(no graphic of message flying on screen). Set to 9203 it says..connecting GPRS, sending...and then the progress bar goes all the way across, and then a message says...Failed to send message, it has been moved to the draft folder.

Well Ok, but I am still trying to get them to work for WAP and GPRS. So do I still post them regardless of whether I know they fully work yet?

Better wait until you get them all working. Once you do add away

Cheers.
