Guest rjm2k Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 I have been having issues with my work HP pc recognising my pulse, at first I though it might be the cable and then that pc suite hadn't installed correctly. The pulse started charging when plugged in but no activity on the pc to show the connection. It turned out to be down to the USB port, the ones on the front of the pc are USB2 and didn't work, the ones on the back of the pc are older usb and did work (windows helpfully tells me that the device can perform faster!). Thought it might be useful info for someone.
Guest phucte Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 so.... I guessing you need to install the drivers 1st , so you've installed the pc suite.. go to device manger in the control panel and you should see the pulse hardware in there. right click on this and click of update driver software and then browse for driver here "C:\Program Files\PC Suite\driver\Vista" and do this for the rest of the hardware drivers needed :D

The pulse was only recognised and drivers used when connected to the usb1 port, not the usb 2 port. I only posted the info in case anyone else has problems with the phone being recognised because they are using a usb 2 port.
