Hello,

I was wondering how can we connect B7610 with pc without charging (and wasting battery cycles?)

Maybe it's very soon for battery problems but i am just trying to protect us for later problems.. :D

by using something remote? like e.g. http://www.julien-manici.com/ this software that works over wifi.

There might be also an option within registry (not sure though), or the deal with modifying your cable, cutting +5v supply wire might help.

AFAIK it is better for li-ion & li-poly batteries to be charged slowly more often, than waiting for full discharge.

Although your post is much appreciated i think that is not quite a solution cause 99% of us use

usb connection, and so a registry fix would be best!!!
