OCK have a big problem with 23118 premium. I didn't find anything to fix. What shall I do with all that spare time ;) :)

Switched to a COM3 build, that's the only change. Anyone experiencing slow downs in 23118?

Using you're custom premium rom 23563 and wondering about Wifi, I always have much lower connection strength its lower compared to my laptop for example. Is the integrated Wifi antenna weaker?

Anybody else experience same thing?

P.S. Why did u change to com3 and why not to com8? D.S.

Not too sure about wifi strength, as for COM8/WMD builds, I may give it a try some other time.

Seems 23118 has marginally better battery usage :D

btw, can you share opera mini as opera mobile is abit heavy to load.

HI Ock,

Just loaded the 23118 Manila Classic and running through the ROM now,

So far, it seems to be sweet. I guess if you compare 23563 to 23118, each branch have their pros and cons. So far, I found it to be fairly smooth and fast though I haven't tested it out heavily yet.

One thing I have noticed is that in S2U2, the headphone symbol is back again. I know it was fixed a while back but I can't find it or remember where. But that's not a big thing.

Also I haven't really test out the TomTom issue... So will get back to you about it.

I'm using the beta version of Opera Mini, non Java version.

For the S2U2 issue, what I do is to edit the S2U2 topbar image, attached are two which you can copy to your s2u2 gfx folder.

Hi OCK sorry to say i just tested 23118 M2D rom with tomtom internal gps , didn't get any gps satellite signal . back to 23541 best one for gps signal and tomtom

I agree with you Kampos, I found that 23541 has the best signal reception for tomtom.

But I managed to get 23118 working with TomTom v6. I had to put in the registry mods and install the GPSModDriver_260 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=571266) and if all is well, it should pick up the reception.

I don't know if is better than 23541 but will be testing..

Only one small bug i found is that the phone button @ the today screen is showing " Lock " instead of phone, how can this be overcomed.

Rather than that it is really marevelous .

i think that "phone button @ the today screen is showing " Lock " instead of phone" is not a small bug. Oct has changed the command to Lock the Phone which is very useful for me.

if u using M2D Version . press Start button and open M2DC in tools folder navigate to Soft Keys tab Change the left key command to Phone instead of Lock navigating to

Windows/Start Menu/Programs/Phone press apply and your Done
