hi,first of all sorry for my english but i'm italian... ;)

this is my mode, maybe someone do in different mode...

- i set my file "THEME.TSK" that i want to use in my omnia from start menu\setup\today

- using resco registry or any other registry app, search the key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE]

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color]

and export to .reg file

- using notepad, cut and paste that registry keys in CSCconfig.reg

- take this file and overwrite your original file

http://hotfile.com/dl/20201511/f7e3a35/empty_mxi.rar.html

mxipcold_wpc_2.provxml go in SYS\base_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_400

mxipupdate_zzzOEM_001.provxml go in OEMAPPS

- delete file granprix_stwater.gif and granprix_tdywater.gif from OEMAPPS

- Insert in OEMAPPS file stwater_240_400.jpg and stwater_400_240.jpg that you use in your default THEME.TSK

then,put your "THEME.TSK" in oemapps

now build rom and flash your omnia!

so sorry for my bad language! ;)

;) I didn't quite understand the right steps! Sorry!

Mambo04, if you did it, can you explain it in a simpler way, please? I need this fix too! ;)

sure thing matey!

basically, open up resco explorer registry (or if you have another app to see the registry, open that)

now, navigate here: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Today]

Export the 'Today' folder as a .reg file to e.g My Storage

Now, go here: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE]

Do the same, export it as well

Now, go here: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Color]

And do the same ;) Now, connect your phone to your laptop and copy over the 3 reg files you have created, put them anywhere, i put them on my desktop

Unpack your csc, so open up i900 EXECUTOR and unpack your csc with that. In the unpacked csc folder, you'll see this file: CSCconfig.reg - open it up in notepad.

Ok now, get your .tsk file. Rename it to .rar, and then using package creator convert it into an OEM. Then, you'll see two image files with the name stwater_240_400.jpg and stwater_400_240.jpg (in my case the numbers were different, but that doesn't matter) Copy these two files over to OEMApps, and remember to delete granprix_stwater.gif and granprix_tdywater.gif. Also, when you've done that remember to delete the OEM you created and rename the .tsk file to .tsk again!

Now, open up your 3 reg files in notepad. Simply copy and paste all of the stuff in these reg files to your CSCconfig.reg file, so go to the bottom of that reg file and copy and paste the stuff from the other 3 into there.

Now, copy and paste your .tsk file (doesn't matter what the name is, but keep it the original one) into OEMApps, and download these files (thanks magi) http://hotfile.com/dl/20201511/f7e3a35/empty_mxi.rar.html and copy and paste

mxipcold_wpc_2.provxml ----> in SYS\base_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_400

mxipupdate_zzzOEM_001.provxml ----> in OEMApps

That's it, your done! now cook your ROM and it should be default ;)

Thanks mate, I did it!

For some reason the wallpaper didn't change though I put those 2 files in OEMApps (it sticked to that simple green one) and I had to replace in SYS/base_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_400: Default_stwater_240_400.gif and Default_stwater_400_240.gif. With that change everything is perfect.

Now my roms look the way I want. ;)

Thanks again! and magi1984 too... I didn't forget that you told us how to do it. ;)

glad it worked for you!

what did you replace the files with? the two pic files in from the .tsk? cause it's now not working for me haha! ;)

No, I just chose a picture that I wanted to be as default. You could do the same, choose your background picture, rename to Default_stwater_240_400.gif and Default_stwater_400_240.gif and drop them in SYS/base_dpi_96_resh_240_resv_400. ;)

Hi there, In Yonn's OS Kitchen, import cab/tsk into EXT>Themes, tick your chosen theme incl its recmod. That's all.

The standard windows theme (classic blue) still there though.....

I think it's good idea if You add this to Your "Beginner's Guide... " :D

As usual.. many thanks Ock :D

Well, you're right! It's not happen on every imported theme. As I examined them, the app.reg files can be empty/blank, no registries in it! I guess the OS kitchen still can not import them properly. Thanks to master Ock for fill in this blank :D
