faulty trackball?

Just got my Pulse, notice the down scroll on the trackball is not responsive? any one has the same problem? ;)

I had noticed something similar, but i think it was because i wasnt pressing 'in' and down. (not enough to click the ball in, but enough so you can feel it 'grip'. hard to explain, but if you do it, you'll get the idea).

for me, I was doing this 'naturally' when scrolling up.
