check sim card or microSD card in other devices whether they do not short-circuit.. sometimes it happens. This may causethe battery drain.

I sometimes have the same experience... I think it is about microsd card containing some error in the filesystem, I get it out of the omnia, then checkdisk in my pc, which usually gets some errors... fix them and back to the phone...

You could always do some checks to see what's causing the problem. Just take out the parts (SIM, MicroSD) one by one..

Please let us know what the problem was! Thanks ;)

If you get it fixed and want to last VERY long on a single charge download chainfire's WMlonglife tool. It's insane how much longer i can go on a single charge.

It's a simple tool that switches to 2G automatically when you're not using any 3G app. and switches back to 3G mode whenever you need it.

I didn't notice that much under heavy usage, but when I had my cellphone idle for half a day the first time after I installed it. I actually thought that my batterypower-counter was bugged because it was still at the exact same number! ;)

try it...

maybe you should check the power settings on the phone (just click on the battery symbol on the top bar ) and make sure you haven't selected "always on"   under turn device off.
