i don't speak very well english, so please excuse me for the errors...

So, I buy an HTC Hero from Orange here in france.the phone is locked to this operator.i can't use it with SFR (vodafone) .I know that there is some websites that unlock the phone for ~16€ , but i don't have a valid banc card , and i will have one until 15 january.So, i'm asking you if there is any way to unlock the phone by changing something in the phone (Rom,radio ......).i can give you some information about it:

micrologiciel version : 1.5

Core version: 2.6.28-8dd6deee htc-kernel@and 18-2

nope, codes only. if you get a code now, it will not work, orange have their own unlocking algorithm, you will need to flash a generic rom for the codes to work.

You will need to downgrade with a goldcard, install custom firmware, AND buy an unlock code.

I paid €20 for my code from http://davinciteam.co.uk/buycredits.html and it worked.
