Hi guys

I don't know if this is normal

But i see the grid between the pixels on the screen (@ a distance of ~30cm)

I also have an iPod touch (same screenres) and on its display i don't see the grid.

Has anyone else made this experience?

Greetings,

Please just look at the screen of your Pulse and then just write yes or no ;)

I would take your phone back to a T-mob shop and get it replaced mate, or wait and see if any one else on here knows what it may be...

I'm pretty sure it's not faulty - probably just a slightly cheaper screen. Compared to my Pro2 (with nice WVGA screen), the Ipod touch looks like is has a grid between pixels.

If you're not sure, you could always take it to the store and compare it. If another is the same, then it's just the screen. If yours is worse, then ask for a replacement.

Capacitive screens have this 'grid' you mention, I only really see it in direct light with the screen off...

The problem I think is called "screen-door effect". The symptoms sound like it, but I'm not sure if screens on a phone can get this effect.

From those pictures I see a grid on both your ipod touch and on your Pulse.

Allthough i have an lcd screen and not a beamer the pic on wikipedia shows nearly exactly what i see on my screen

i have many mobile phones ... N-Gage QD, N77, HTC Universal etc. ..

But the first thing i saw when i switched my pulse on was that the screen looked weird...

Maybe its only imagination - and i hope so...

Ill go to a T-Mobile shop this week and look what the other screens look like

Big Thanks,

You should go into the Apple store too, because your ipod touch has the same grid!
