U8230 Rom - with Kernel from T-Mobile Update

After T-Mobile Update(germany 12/09) the Phone wont boot with the old Kernel and Custom Kernel. So i took the Kernel from the T-Mobile Rom, modified ramdisk and included it into the Modaco Custom Rom 1.0 (based on U8230).

Phone is booting fine now, and everything seems to work. (No ext3/ext4 support, only ext2)

can you please tell me what this update is about? does it fix any known issues or changes something that effects usability?

The official update?

It fixes the camera issue. And seems to have some changes to the Radio Rom (or something else), what effect that the old kernel is not working anymore.

Anyway, my U8230 release has a bug restarting device when getting a call. Guess i have to pull some files from the new T-Mobile Rom into the system folder.
