HTCHomeSettings.xml eplained PROPERLY!!!

Hi,

I noticed this XDA thread " http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread...?t=427531" but this DOES NOT explain these settings at all. I've read through the whole thread and it's so confusing. Sure it explains bits and pieces but I would like to have seen this xml-file properly explained!!!!

In another thread on Modaco "http://www.modaco.com/content/i900-general-omnia-rom-discussion/275063/manilla-2d-fixed-widgets-to-fit-omnia-screen/" someone explains other bits and pieces but the code which is supposed to be in the boxes is gone!!! An other user (justin911) asks to retrieve the code but that thread seems to be dead. Has anyone got the original explanation/pngs?

Can someone explain the page properly. I want to adjust the position of the "missed calls", Calender/appointments and the Allarm clock and nobody explains this.

I managed to the other things like make the photos-tab more vertically adjusted and a longer email-tab but those simple things I can't get fixed. Because I have no idea which o/t items I need to adjust.

For the record.

1) I believe the items inside <HomeWidget> and </HomeWidget> are for the home-tab. Is this correct?

2) the items below are for the Call history

EPDM, i don't know if you're still working on this or not. but before i try and help ya, which version of touchflo are you using? M2d v1.9 or M2D2?

every line containing rect is for executing the position. Ypu have to change the values that come in two pairs...

FE:

<Property name="IDHMWG_MISSEDCALLBTN_TEXT_RECT" id="33" value="55,194,213,221" />

the underlined values determine the position.

first and third coordinates the width and second and the last one is for heighs.

to know more you have to experiment. I have some experiance in changing xml registry but it's hard to explain... So it's up to you. If you work hard enough you'll know what I'm writting about.
