Alternative to Omnia's camera App

Hi, I am looking for some alternative to Omnia's i900 camera app. I need something which does not use hardware camera button for taking photos, but button on the display.. Or is there any chance to modify default app?

My HW buttons do not work because of corrosion (some of them work, but with intense pressing), so I had to flash to 6,5 because of screenlock during every phonecall on 6,1...  ;) Ive noticed that arrow keys work fine, they must be conected directly or have some insulation.

jeeeeeez man what did you do with your phone? screen size doesn't grow with watering you know ;)

have you tried middle button (d-pad)? but i dont really think there is an easy way to just make a camera app. or you might want to try contact samsung, so they can give you source code, than we can make something out ;) joke ;)

I dont know ;) servis said my phone is corroded and I will not pay 200€ for repair. :/

Try the ebay and buy a new set of buttons or if you buy a new screen and digitizer and buttons i think it will be cheapper than 200€!

A few months ago i ordered from China digitizer and screen and they sent it to Slovenia (EU) and the price of all (including tax and shipment) was about 79€!

Cheaper to buy a new phone for 200Euro. I cant uderstand that its that corroded that the buttons dont work but the phone still does. Take it to another service centre as some of them will tell you anything to steal your money.

Well, they shot a couple of photos and there is some corrosion under buttons. I think mobile like this should be more resistant, I havent been diving with it! ;)

Maybe I will buy some things on ebay...

I can not enter to Define keys because I can not press Enter key ;)

Try using a pencil eraser to clean the button contacts.

okay, later I will try...

Does enybody have FtouchSL ?? I have an idea ;) pls find out for me "Select" and "Photo" buttons code. (In FTochSL Define action and then record it by "..." and press dpad, then photobutton). Now you must check Shift checkbox bellow and the code appears above) I should be able to simulate those keys with active corners or slides.

You do know that using the free MyMobiler, you can use your own ActiveSync connection to control your Omnia with the mouse & keyboard? ;)
