SIM Card Lock

In the Settings -> Security & location menu there is a 'Set up SIM card lock' option.

I've used this in my old SIM & phone in case anybody stole it they couldn't get to the data on it or use up my call credit by putting the SIM in their own phone.

However I can't seem to set it up with this Pulse phone and the PAYG SIM that came with it.

I've asked T-Mobile support what the default PIN is and they say 0000 but when I try to change the PIN or Lock the SIM card it just says the PIN is wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

dont know if this will help or not but i ordered 2 of them web and text sims over a month ago before i got my pulse but anyway the default pin for both of them were 1210. not sure if its the same for all these sims or not

The default pin is on the plastic sleave that came with the sim, it's probably 1210. I changed my pin but I couldn't do it on the pulse, it failed everytime so I put the sim in another phone and changed it on there.

I did look for a PIN on the stuff that came with the SIM but saw nothing obvious.

Just tried 1210 in the Pulse and no joy like you rjm2k.

Your ideas have given me something to work with and at least I know now I'm not the only one having trouble.
