Guest jason07 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Posted December 15, 2009 (edited) Hey guys, I just found this over at XDA and thought I'd share it. A very promising looking UI. Haven't actually tested it myself but the developer reckons it's WQVGA compatible so who knows. XDA Thread Download Site If anyone tries it out let us know how it goes. Cheers, Jason UPDATE: Ok so i installed it and tested it (only seems to work when installed to My Device), and it's very nice indeed (for an alpha 0.1 release ;)). Obviously has a long way to go before it's a complete UI for everyday use (back to M2D2 for now), but definitely an awesome project so far. Have a look for yourselves. Guest vince1970 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 quite good ;) is this WM6.1 or WM6.5 compatible. Looks nice and what is the memory like ?
Guest jason07 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 is this WM6.1 or WM6.5 compatible. Looks nice and what is the memory like ? The current Alpha version 0.1.3 will eat about 3.8Mb on device memory. It works fine on my device with the latest 6.5 build 28011.

Guest cmalone Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Quite snappy on my i910. like it. not sure how the weather works....don't see it on home screen. also, using capcom's newest rom.
Guest jason07 Posted December 16, 2009 Report Posted December 16, 2009 Looks great!! cant help but notice you have fennec in bottom left pic, how is it? They aren't my screenshots mate, got them from the developer's site. HOWEVER, I did try the first few alpha releases of Fennec, and although it looked like ONE day being a great browser, it was totally unusable at the time. Haven't looked for an update for a while though, so might be worth checking out.

Guest jason07 Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 Yea thats what i read as well about fennec as well. I had another look at it yesterday, and it seems to still be in alpha 2 phase... which is what i tried a while ago. So yeah, install it to have a look, but don't expect anything more than a cool proof of concept... definitely unusable as it is.
