i need help with sync problems

Hello i have recently flashed my rom again now having done so when i go to re-sync my phone with windows device center. I go to set up your device click on it and it keeps saying. There is a problem with your connection. Please disconnect device and try again. I have tried everything i know between changing the phone to advance connection to non advance. I've even tried to check for new drivers nothing helps. I'm at a loss please help.
