No APNs in my HERO !

Morinin'all,

For some reason my HERO doesn't detect any APNs from the my mobile GSM, the APN menu is empty!

Is there a way to force the HTC Hero to automatically obtain these APNs like the Nokia and Sony Ericsson and other mobile phone?

Here you are :

A (reasonable) list of APNs (which you can edit as it's XML) can be downloaded from here :

I believe you can put that file (named apns-conf.xml) in /system/etc/ - but am not sure if you have to mod anything else.

Alternately, add the APN details you need (from the file) via settings > wireless > mobile network settings > access point names
