Playing Music while locked - songs skip

Noticed yesterday that playing music while locked (wm 6.5) seems to causes the player to pause briefly every 3 - 6 secs . Only for for a split second but it's really annoying , has anyone else found this ? If I play music with the touchpad unlocked it plays fluently , no skipping or pauses but then the touch screen becomes annoying with the phone in my pocket while out walking or cycling .

I use Nicklashidegards 23506 classic rom . Happens with different music players so it seems to be more related to the lock mechanism rather than the specific player .

With headphones , just tried it with S2U2 to lock the phone instead and it doesnt seem to do it but I couldnt say Im a huge fan of s2u2 . Trying to make it change wallpapers automatically but it doesnt seem to happen when I set it to do so ! Way too many settings for my liking , dont really understand half of em , or they dont work , one or the other !

One of the reasons I got this phone was that I thought an 8gb phone would be a good music player but it just doesnt seem to be that good as an MP3 player . I wonder what genius thought putting that giant headphone plug on the side was a good idea . Wish I was smart enough to check these things out before i got it ! ;) but thats me , rush in half assed with little research frst ! ;) ;)

I had the same problem. But then I found that if I use psShutXP I get a little program called Device Switch in my programs list. It simply turns the screen off and allows music to play properly. It won't lock the hardware keys however. I've mapped Device Switch to the menu button and it works perfectly for me.

Almost forgot, I think the program is cooked into Hide-ROMs. Just run the program once and you should have device switch in your program menu.

EDIT: The program is called Display swith, not device switch...

Thanks for that , I have that installed and will check it out !

Well the answer for me at least is to use S2U2 and S2P together , went out for an hour walk earlier and it performed very well !

Cheers

Use Touch Player from Samsung, it's nice and it doesn't have this problem.
