Guest mr.filth Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 ive done this all back in the day and it was really easy. i just used the omnia umdl, loaded the .img file and BAM! it was done. but now ive downloaded what seemed to be different builds of roms that are an application all in themselves. how do they work?
Guest necosino Posted December 17, 2009 Report Posted December 17, 2009 Look at the extension. Chances are they need to be decompressed with a program like WinRAR if they're a .zip, .rar or .7z file

Guest mr.filth Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 .exe's. i also have files with extensions of .xml and .md5
Guest jason07 Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Dude they're just the normal ROM .exe's... Just open them on a computer using Windows XP (with your phone plugged into the USB port), soft reset/turn on your phone, and the little "Start" button will become active. Click it, and let it do it's thing... I think this is what ur after.
