HTC Pure Style v1.2 RC (SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.2 theme) - W(QVGA) / W(VGA)

HTC Pure Style v1.2 RC (SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.2 theme)

Requirements: WM5 and above, SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.2 - W(VGA) / W(QVGA) Screen

HTC Pure Style is a theme for SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.2 created by vincent.316 from MobileCustom.fr. This is another great theme that gives you a different UI for your windows mobile.

You must install SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.1 first, then this cab that is available from MobileCustom.fr, then soft reset.

With respect to the author, see http://translate.google.com.au/translate?h...pic,3122.0.html for details and download.

Too bad you must register to download it. And it is in French.

Too bad you did not read that forum properly..

" For the English version, you must install your resolution + HTC Editor before installing HTC_Pure_Style_English.cab. Then, you launch HTC Editor and click on "install the English version".

Downloaded it now and going to give a try once i reflash to Nicklas newest Ultralite Rom so i can install MS3 and then this awesome skin.

I think based on the translation, you need to install the correct MS3.5.2 version before installing this UI. You will need to get the retail MS3.5.2 and the correct screen resolution and then follow the instruction from the site. I cant read French nor register with this forum. If someone can register and ask for permission to post the files here, it will be good.

Works great on my Omnia, @UbiMaiden, just change the skin on the clock and move some bits around and it'll be awesome! This is a great skin, and probably one I'll be sticking with for awhile. Btw I believe the theme creator mentioned adding more widgets in the future, so....yay!

I tried to register on the French site but keep getting an error.

The other link gets me to page where it tells me I have exceeded the number of pages I can view.

Very frustrating!

There must be something wrong with the version I got.

I can install okay, but when I install the English cab (following the instructions installation order) it screws up the sidebar menu.

The other thing i am having a problem with is widgets.

When I add one it defaults to underneath the sidebar menu where it is not accessible.

Did you encounter either problem?

Revhead, I follow the instruction below and dont think I have the same issue then. I am not on this UI but rather on PDhee M2DV2 ROM.

This UI was made for SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.1 / 3.5.2 and not sure whether this is compatible with 3.5.3 ??

Check this link http://www.modaco.com/content-page/279938/...splay/page/740/ post #750 and see if rendeiro2005 can assist (assuming he installed in his i900 based on his dump).

alternatively, you can try MobileSense from naong - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=604146. Personally, this is better UI for MS Shell 3.5.3 and more popular.

Pure Sense Install in internal storage :

-exit spb mobile shell

-WVGA : install WVGA

-VGA : first install WVGA, then VGA

-WQVGA : install WQVGA

-QVGA : first install WQVGA, then QVGA

-HTC Editor WVGA et VGA : install HTC_Pure_Style_Editor_v1.2.cab

-HTC Editor WQVGA et QVGA : install HTC_Pure_Style_Editor_WQVGA_v1.2.cab

For the English version, you must install your resolution + HTC Editor before installing HTC_Pure_Style_English.cab.

Then, you launch HTC Editor and click on "install the English version".

Thanks.

I took your advice and switched to MobileSense instead.
