Android Market and Googlemail

Hi all,

Looking for some help. Have had my pulse up and running for a couple of days now and I am still on the original software etc that it comes with out of the box.

I must say I am very impressed with the phone and all its features.

There is one thing that I can not do and I can not see how to. Is it possible to logout of your google account so that it is not constantly logged into the market and googlemail?

any help would be appriciated.

If you want to stop other people accessing your mail and buying apps from the market place use the security settings to require an unlock pattern before the phone can be used. If you just want to save on data disable background sync.

Home -> Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications -> Google Apps

-> Clear data -> Notifications (top of screen) -> Tap "Your account

must be updated" -> Enter new account info -> reboot* -> Get your

contacts back somehow.

You can do the same with Gmail (i.e. Clear Data). Edited December 17, 2009 by jonathonf
