Guest Billus Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 I run SPB 3.5 and both of these work fantastically for me ;) Matt. Yes but you will notice that there aren't any images in the background; it's just 2d.
Guest Antonioffaxii Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 It does support 3D, but not the OpenGL spectrum of development, the case with SPB MS 3 is that, for the omnia, the 3D "imitation" is achieved by use of vectors in the programing, instead of a 3D instance. If this was coded for use with the inbuilt 3D (direct3D) within the Omnia, it should in theory work fine. However, this takes a lot of time, and is why it isn't being done. As a summary, the Omnia DOES support 3D applications, SPB MS was effectively a 2D application for the Omnia and developers will not bring in support for Direct3D any time soon, if at all.
Guest sinancetinkaya Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 I think, this application is using i8000's compass which i900 doesn't have for the turning stuff
Guest theraf90 Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 ok I understand, the Omnia uses codes to recreate a 3d feeling meanwhile the i8000 or the HTC devices use hardware... Well I`m gonna keep my omnia till wm7 comes out so... gotta find cool apps for it to make the wait a bit easyer!!!
Guest Ceed19 Posted February 28, 2010 Report Posted February 28, 2010 Does it work on the I920? everything seems to work fine except for the "move phone to ear to dial", work for anyone else on an I920?
