hero or HD2?? cant decide ;0(

title says it all really...   its upgrade time... and i have the option of carrying on with the hero,, or giving it the wife and getting meself a HD2 ;)

Never had a winmo device though and a little worried about the bad press 6.5 has been getting... other than that... anyone wanna tell me why i should be getting the HD2 over the hero?   especialy with the new android 2.1 eclair out very soon....     help? ;)

Yea winmo does get alot of bad press and honestly I have become a little envious of the improvements coming from other Os's especially android. But what you should know is HTC has skinned Winmo even deeper than touch flo 3d...sense for winmo is said to hide 6.5 almost completely.Also the hd2 has the biggest most bad ass screen on a phone ever(over 4") lol.. add in the processing power of that snapdragon processor and you've got a winner. But as i dont own either device personally i cant say which is better those are just some of the finer points about the HD2.

i had a hero for about 4 months and just switched to the HD2 and much much prefer the HD2. if you have any specific questions though PM me and happy to help! ;)

I bought my missus HTC Hero as she didn't like any of my WM based touchscreen phones. I would, however, compare HD2 to NexusOne rather than Hero and would a NexusOne available in T-Mobile now, I'd probably go for Android myself. Depending on network, I'd choose HD2 over Hero anyway if the upgrade's for the same amount or free as you could sell it for well over 100 quid more on eBay than you'd spend on brand new sealed Hero from your network. That's the good option if you do decide to go for Hero...
