Guest Dan Mullen Posted December 18, 2009 Report Posted December 18, 2009 You know how A2SD moves your apps to an ext partition then creates symbolic links from the original location to the new? Does anyone think it would make sense to also move the /data/data directory as well as /data/app, /data/app-private and /data/lost+found? AFAIK, /data/data contains settings and data required for an app to run. Although some internal space is saved by moving the app, in many cases the data is much larger. This is why everyone sees their internal storage space decreasing even when A2SD is working. Would there be any downsides to A2SD also moving the data directory to ext?
