Is it possible to make SMS chat my default SMS manager instead of outlook?

SMS chat has a setting that kind of tries to make it the default, but it often crashes/doesn't override the standard. However, depending on your Home UI, there are ways to make it possible to sort of bypass the default SMS altogether (I know it can be done with PointUI and M2D). As was said - go Googling for answers specific to ur UI.
