Echo Problem Omnia qwerty

When I use the external speaker on my Omnia Qwerty, the person who I am calling hardly can't hear what I have to say caused by the echo off my voice.

Is this problem solved after the upgrade to WM6.5, is this a hardware problem or is this one of those known problems?

I 've read that more people have this problem but I haven't seen a solution for it.

Is there maybe some setting that can reduce the echoing?
