hero problems!

hi

i have a t-mobile htc hero that i have unlocked and rooted,

Its running

firmware 1.5

modaco custom rom 2.9 core

sometimes when the phone is locked and i want to unlock it by pressing the power button or menu button the phone does not respond, the only way is to remove the battery and reboot. Also sometimes the phones randomly presses buttons on screen or when i am on the home screen it moves to different pages.

does any one know why it does this?

also is there any customisation i can do to this phone?

Sounds like a hardware fault with the phone. Did it have the problems with the original firmware?

How much customisation do you want? You can try aHome or PandaHome for a more customisable homescreen.

well i bought the phone from ebay and it had the original firmware but i only used it for a day before i changed everything.

So far its been fine, i think it may be to do with some background apps, i use taskkiller now,

Customisation wise iv had a look at aHome and PandaHome and although its more customised i was thinking in terms of what extras you can do,

for instance with a jailbroken iphone you can change themes and add menus etc

What can you do to the Hero that makes it stand out?

Why you don't try with this site for the mobile unlock process..? I too unlocked my mobile from here http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/ @ lowest costs.. Also in here we can get all GSm mobile codes..
