Guest emoture Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 (edited) Hey guys! After much research into the subject, I've found a site which has a dump of the Xperia X2 ROM and just my luck, they've already extracted the panels. Here's the original thread: htcpedia. Look's cool right? My simple request is if anybody could make this work on the Omnia. (I've tried installing it but it only gives an icon that doesn't do anything) I know Sector could do it, maybe you can too! Maybe the solution is simply to edit the cpr files so that it would work on our screens (WQVGA right?) but sadly... I do not know how to do it myself ;) . So I am calling out to everybody out there in our forum, chefs, coders, or anybody interested... If anybody could make it work on our device. We would thank you so much! Beautiful... Simply beautiful! Download here (This is the one to download. Please view the original thread, no need to register htcpedia) Please Remember: I take no credit for making or extracting this from the original ROM. All credits go to SONY ERICSON for creating the entire interface and ARK_N for extracting it from the dump and making it work on his device ;) I hope I'm not doing anything illegal. If I am, please tell me immediately so I can take the proper actions. Edited December 19, 2009 by emoture

Guest zha50 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 The panels MAYBE graphics accelerated. If that is the case, even if its able to be ported graphics wise, and the effects engine wrapped, it would run extremely slow given the face that the i900 lacks a graphics chip which is present in most of HTC and SE's touch phones.

It wouldn't be that heavy if it were to be made to work and ported on a ROM. I think the only problem here is that it is incompatible with our screen so editing the CPR files might be the solution. Anybody?
