Wrong ROM Version bricked my loader

I already read a lot of topics in this forum and have to say, you guys are great. So I'm sure this is the only place I can get help. Here is my problem:

First I wanted to change my i900 Omnia from German to English and used the i900DXHJ1 Rom to do that. Everything went fine until I got interested in the new WM6.5. When I updated to that my phone started to have problems to connect to WiFi. So I used the former Rom to switch back to the working version. That's when I got stuck and this is what I ended up with:

Update via normal Roms from this forum or directly from Samsung don't download to my Omnia anymore. They are always stuck at "0% downloading". What's even more interesting is that my PDA Version says i908 though I have i900. I guess the WM6.5 Rom I uploaded was for the wrong PDA. Phone works okay, Software too. But I can't seem to change ROM anymore.

Windows Version says WM6.1

PDA: Version i908ZHHH2

PHONE: i900XXHL1

Tried Hardware reset, official Roms, GrandPrix upload, Emergency mode trick with WinControl. All of them don't allow me to update the Rom. Driver are fine and USB is working. I can download for example MP3s to the phone. I'm using XP and get to 0% downloaded.

I would be happy, if the current Ro would work. But my Navigator Software doesn't work with this Rom and I can't connect to WiFi anymore. Anybody any idea I overlook in this forum?

I'm using Custom WM6.5 ROMs for i900 by Ryrzy ( 28014 version ), work's very fine and this is English version.

1. Update with XP

2. Your pc must be connected on internet

What's even more interesting is that my PDA Version says i908 though I have i900

i908 is just the i900 16GB

My current version is WM 6.1 although it always said 0%downloaded after I had 6.5 on it. I try to put a normal English WM 6.1 on it again to see if I can get WiFi and Navigator back to work again.

If i908 is just the 16GB one, then this shouldn't be the problem. I just wonder what it is then.

@gockoo: Tried it already. Same as all the other Roms. Stuck right at the beginning of download. Got about 24 different Roms on my harddisc that all didn't download. So I don't think that another Rom is the solution. But thanks anyway.

Try charging your battery for at least an hour first, then try the GrandPrix method again. Hope you can get your Omnia up and running again

The wifi problem has been reported quite often, may require you to refresh the operator settings by switching to another operator and then back again.
