installation was unsuccessful

I can not install any cab file. When installing it immediately says installation (name of cab file) was unsuccessful, i dont even get to a point to choose where to install. Has anybody encountered this problem, a solution would be great.

Back up your stuff, format My Storage and do a hard reset.
