Guest Posted December 22, 2009 Report Posted December 22, 2009 What is it that you were expecting / thought would be better?
Guest Dan Mullen Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 What is it that you were expecting / thought would be better? To echo tatwamasi, what features would make you happy :)
Guest stevenz Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I did my research before I bought it, and other than it being a bit sluggish at times, and having less than stellar reception, I think it's a brilliant little phone. It could benefit from a bit more RAM and/or faster CPU, but it's not a big deal. I'm very pleased with mine.

I'd like a bit more consistency in speed (as in quick all the time!) and a longer battery life. Other than that I think it's pretty much bang on. Oh yeah and no gap above the screen. I wouldn't swap it for any other phone available today. Edited December 23, 2009 by Guest
Guest clarkEEE1 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) if you think its abit slugish you should have had one when they got released a few month back I have been running modaco since 1.1 and the guys here and xda have brought this phone a long way in the 3 or so months its been out, I wouldn't swap it for an iphone anyway. What sort of apps you looking for iphone might have better apps but how long has it been on the market compared to android I still think there's still a lot more to come from this phone. As for battery life make sure you keep your phone fast by killing apps running in background I use eray all the time to kill apps as soon as I finish with them this way you prob hardly ever get lag I don't anyway. Guest venturerider Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I only wish my phone would browse at anywhere near the speed of the iPhone.
Guest jazz5000 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I only wish my phone would browse at anywhere near the speed of the iPhone. i have dolphin browser. give it a try, its a improvment over the stock browser but still not as fast as iphone!
Guest venturerider Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I've tried Dolphin. It still takes very long pauses when loading pages as with the browser in MCR3.0.
Guest Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I only wish my phone would browse at anywhere near the speed of the iPhone. Is it much different? I've not compared them side by side but my having used my Girlfriend's iPhone I haven't noticed a big difference. I do wish that I could adblock all the flash ads though. That's pretty annoying and would contribute to a slower browsing experience. It does seem that the Hero browser's trumpeted addition of flash just means I get to see lots of flashing ads as opposed to anything useful.
Guest venturerider Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I tried my phone side by side with my friend's, both on the same WiFi connection, and the iPhone flies. There is no doubt about it.
Guest shenshang Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 firstly, update your rom to MoDaCo 3.0 then, update your radio to JU
