Guest ak888 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Have had the pulse for over a week now. Battery life initially was awful, didn't last a day. Now its getting better as other forum members have said - a few charges and the battery gets up to proper working life. Problem I have having is that the battery seems to drain and die when switched off. Before sleeping, I switched off the phone as there was around 40% left. When I woke up to switch on - there was no power and I have to charge the phone. Is this normal? Is my pulse faulty? Everything is stock except I have it unlocked.
Guest bounty123 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) Mine almost doesn't use any power in standby. Like leaving it for 5-6 hours and it loses only 1% capacity. I suspect that some background process, widget or service is draining your battery. Do you have wifi disabled? Edited December 23, 2009 by bounty123

Long press of the on/off button (left hand side) and select Power Off. This should switch off the phone I would have thought and no power should be used?
Guest bounty123 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Ahh I see. Well that sounds really weird and not working properly. If that happens for you regularly, I would consider bringing it in for warranty, the battery could be faulty.
