Guest Dan Mullen Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 I've read that this is an issue for some people and my brother has confirmed that his new Pulse syncs "All contacts" rather than "My contacts". As a result he has switched contact syncing off. Does anyone know if there is a way to configure it to only sync particular contact groups, or do you have to switch from the T-Mobile ROM to the Huawei ROM? Thanks in advance :)
Guest bounty123 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Right now this is possible only with the 8230 based modaco rom series, which is at v1.2 now. It's faster and it has the original, unmodified android experience, like the original apps for home, contacts, music player etc. I prefer that to the stock rom.

I'll see what my brother thinks of the T-Mobile software and give him the choice when I flash his phone tonight :) It's a shame you can't switch to vanilla Android like you can on the Hero.

Guest Dan Mullen Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 U8230 is vanilla Android. Yeah, I meant with the T-Mobile ROM. For example, on the Hero you can choose whether to view the home screen using Sense UI or vanilla Android. It would be nice if you could stick to the T-Mobile ROM but switch to plain Android mode as and when you want.
