Guest payne4life Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Sorry guys if this has been answered already but i couln't find the solution so if could just someone point it to me, i would br grateful.. I was on MCR 2.8 with 1.9 TK and i flashed the MCR 3.0. Now i have all the apps i had before (apart from 5-6) that don't work for some reason, but if i go on the Market and choose My Downloads i can't see anything... So what about updating my apps? All apps that i have downloaded from Market are free. I think i had seen a couple months ago somewhere that some guys had the same problem with me.. So can anyone help me on how to restore My Downloads list? (Not apps, apps are already installed from before.) Thanks a lot in advance!

I know this might sound like a silly question, but have you re-entered your Google account details?

You mean after the update at the intro screens?! Well because of lack of wifi at first i skipped the procedure but after 20 minutes or so that i had wifi coverage yes i entered my account info. I've done this yesterday.

Right, it's just that your downloads are linked to your Google account. If you've entered your login details then I don't know why they aren't appearing. Did you definitely save your details? Is your phone syncing your Google contacts, calendar, etc.?

Yeap it is syncing just fine.. My login details are definately saved...
Guest payne4life Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 @Dan: When you say that "My Downloads" are linked to my account what exactly do you mean? Paid apps only or everything? And if let's say that any app i download (free or paid) is linked to my account, then is this connected with the the list of apps that My Downloads section will show me? I mean the list isn't a more 'local' thing..? On the device? Or this list syncs with my account and according to what i have installed (or bought) shows it up?
Guest shenshang Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 only paid items are left on the mydownload section, unless its your first reboot, but after that your assets.db file gets wiped and only your paid items will show up.

I guess do all kinds of wipes at the recovery menu and then flash the rom i want? will this delete all my apps from the App2SD use? Or do i first need to format my sd card?
Guest clarkEEE1 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 The apps that are missing are protected apps that's why you need to redownload them. As for the market have you tried market enabler.apk
Guest clarkEEE1 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 If you wipe don't wipe your ext partion this will wipe apps stored there. If I were you id restore your nandroid back up then install modaco 3 over the top of that, or before you wipe and fresh flash use my backup pro or sprite backup, backup for root users even and backup apps and settings etc and restore after your new flash but protected apps wont be restored.
