Guest niko1986 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 (edited) I had a series of services stop responding so i turned the phone off now it wont get part the android menu.

I adb'd back to recovery as im pre-december upgrade. And proceeded to restore a week old nandroid backup ... no success.

I reapplied an update ... still no sucess im at the end of my ideas of how to proceed now.

Suggestions anyone? Seems it maybe a hardware fault the tmobile support website told me to look for a white circle in the top right corner of the phone when the back is removed. If a white circle is present the phone may require repairs ... now how do i make this a virgin phone to stop and tmobile s*** storm over warrenty or is it not possible? Guest jonathonf Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Take the SD card out when the phone is turned off, turn the phone on and it should boot. If you're using Apps2SD this will likely also break all of your apps, I think down to copy protection or the dalvik-cache or something. Anyhow, they just need reinstalling. If this is the case mount in Linux, copy the apps from /apps on the ext partition onto the FAT32 partition and reinstall (or manually go through My Downloads one by one).
Guest niko1986 Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 Success its booted thanks Johnathon, now all the reinstall hassle crap :S
Guest rjm2k Posted December 23, 2009 Report Posted December 23, 2009 White circle?! Mine has that and probably all pulses do, it's covering a screw so that you can't take the pulse apart without them being able to tell!
