Guest Powerspec Posted February 2, 2003 Report Posted February 2, 2003 O.K maybe I've got this wrong, but I get the idea you can use an MP3 file to inform of a new Email etc. I've loaded and run Activesync, Explored IPSM>Application Data but no sound Folder. OK created NEW Sound Folder and copied across some MP3's. Then on SPV programs>Settings>Sounds New Emails etc, scrolled through but no copied MP3's HELP PLEASE! :x
Guest yatpeak Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 If you want to put sounds onto your SPV, they have to be wavs. I'll check and tell you where to put them in a second. Wyatt
Guest HelloDave Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 Yup, the phone only supports wavs as ringtones. Make sure they're PCM format, 8-22KHz, 8 or 16 bit.
Guest yatpeak Posted February 3, 2003 Report Posted February 3, 2003 You can copy the .wavs into IPSMApplication DataSounds. Hope this helps, Wyatt
