Phone thinks it's roaming

Having a bit of an issue, I have a 3 Ireland sim in my phone however my number was ported from Vodafone, in my phone status I see the original 3 number that no longer exists as the sim was ported. However sometimes my data connection drops and I'm told I'm now roaming. When I then look at phone status it believes my network is Vodafone, so it thinks I'm roaming as I'm connected to 3. It will randomly fix itself and then break again.

Not sure what could be done about this or if anybody else is experiencing anything similar.
