1) how to change back to win mobile 6.1 (hard reset wont solve) ? Install a 6.1 rom just like you did with 6.5. You could also get the official rom of the Samsung website.

2) what is d meaning of flash, brick, custom ROM ? Flashing is like installing. Brick is when the flash goes wrong and renders the phone useless, often requiring you to send it of to Samsung Service to get it fixed. A custom rom is one not built by Samsung, often has many things removed as is made to the "cookers" liking. The cooker or chef is one who builds the rom in his "kitchen".

3) video call wont work with M4DV 28011 n 28014 (option blurred in the call menu). how to solve this? There is a program called Advanced Config. It more likely then not is already "cooked" into the rom. Just go under the phone tab and enable the dialer skin.

i think thts all 4 now. if u have any links which is helpful 4 me, please do post it here. thx in advance

Hope this answers your questions. Have a good Christmas.

Sure, no problemo.

Firstly, Advance Config can be downloaded from here: http://handheld.softpedia.com/get/Tweaks/A...ols-58295.shtml. PHM Registry Editor is also good but mostly used for more advanced things: http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2008/09/04/phm...-pocket-pc.html

Secondly, installing files/programs to your Omnia. They usually come either as a cab or exe file. Step 3 covers the exe file:

1. If it comes in a .cab format, you have to transfer it to your phone to install. (Do not extract the contents of the cab file on your computer and transfer it you your phone, just leave it as is.)

2. On your phone, locate the file and open it, Windows will take care of the rest. You can choose to where it installs so either My Device, My Storage or Storage (micro SD card if you have one). The program should be available from the start menu after installing.

3. If it comes as a .exe file, it has to be installed via active sync. This means you have to connect your phone to your computer in order to install. Basically, you just install it like any other program. Your phone will come up with a message stating that a program wants to install, just say yes.

1. type *7465625*638*# to set

I typed in *7465625*638*# into where phone pad, where you dial numbers

2. type your MCC/MNC code (list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code), e.g.26003 for Polish ORANGE

I require 3G UK, so I typed in 23420 into MCC/MNC code

3. type your new NCK (12345678), then OK

1 typed in 12345678 and pressed ok

them comes up a message, network lock, sim failure error happened

3. type *#7465625 to check your lock

4. type #7465625*638*# and type your NCK (12345678)

5. enjoy.

can you please help me solve this problem,

thanks you very much for all your support
