Sound problem

Hi !! Two days ago I got a pulse (well I live in Chile and it's not called pulse just U8220) everything works just fine but the speakers make a really uggly noise when I play music, it's not a loud noise, it's actually weak, but is pretty uncomfortable, the problem is present also when using the headphones... is this normal? I still have time to change it... Thank youu!!

when it get quiet, it sounds a little noise. but the bright side is we can hear it clearly when we are in some noise places.

I've read the speaker noise is present in other devices but I don't know if the headphone noise is normal, it is pretty uncomfortable, sounds like a weak old modem connection :) , is this happening to you? thaanks!!! ;)

I've also get this background noise while listening to music... its very annoying B)

I had two pulse before the one I have now, and those had the same sound problem... must be a hardware problem, or maybe this happens because the audio jack is pretty near to the power usb port... :)

I agree! The sound on this phone is horrible! The phone does not drive the headphones loud enough and the on board speaker is QUIET!

If the sound is coming out from the jack plug, and it's frizzling, I think that is not the phone's problem. I have an mp3 player, and if I listening to music with a concrete (AKG K321) earphone, I hear frizzling noise. But if I use other ear-, or headphone, I can't hear the annoying sound.

I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this kind of sound problem, but it's driving me crazy.

Many people I speak to complain about a sudden hissing noise happening fairly regularly during a call. I took my phone back and it stayed at t-mobile for almost a month; they replaced the mic and the loudspeaker but not much has changed. I've no idea what might cause such a sound but would love to get rid of it.

I thought using a custom ROM might help with the sound issue but it didn't. Any help would be appreciated....

Am i doing something wrong? (it took a while earlier to relaize that I had covered the mic slot at the bottom)
