FLASHING ROM!!!!

I have done a ton of research on how to flash my phone read almost every forum post and still have no idea how to flash my phone.

I've even tried to go to simplified step by step guide, like secanys, tacchan, there are so many different things to download and its extremely confusing! and I see absolutely nothing that they have written there in fact i have no idea what a pb0.n or csc file is I have no idea where to find then or use the winhex, or octans. Please can anyone dumb it down to lamens terms and really write a step by step guide. As well as a step by step guide to dump my ROM. I know that there is only a lite version of a ROM for this device, I am waiting for the b7610 SENSE htc leo beta rom.

-download octans

-download a rom of your choice

-load the nbo or the smt file in octans and optionally a csc file

-press detect

-attach your phone (while its turned off)

-and press start

piece of cake isnt it?

I was trying this procedure about a milion times, but when i attach my phone (while its turned off), then will appear window "WinUSB Initialize", I press OK and then there are about a ten errors like "WinUSB_QueryInterfaceSettings Error 1", "WinUSB_QueryPipe Error 1"....

I have Windows 7. Could this be an issue? Please help me :-(

EDIT: I try to run Octan in compatibility mode with win XP, and now it is working :-)

did you install the driver?
