Hey People.

I'll become a pulse owner - if everything goes well - tomarrow. I'm reading every topic involved, but i still have no answers to a few questions. Here they are:

I want to make a full backup, so if needed i can revert so i can send it back for warranty repair.

-Is this possible?

-If yes, with what tool?

-Can it be done without rooting? Or basically without touching the system?

I dont have Wifi at home, but i want to put a few apps on, so it wont go online with 3g.

-Is it possible to install apps offline?

-Through bluetooth(pan)?

-Through usb?

I read two opinions about the famous "December Update".

-Now really, should i do it?

I'm Hungarian.

-Can i install Hungarian language, or at least keyboard layout? (Special chars, llike éáűőúöüóí)

Thanks for the answers.

Cheers from Hungary.

1. You can just do a factory reset if you need to send it back, this will set the phone back to its factory settings that it had when you unboxed it. Procedure for this is documented in the user manual.

2. You can also download MYBACKUP from the market, this is a good backup device for backing up data and apps.

Yes you can put apps on the phone through USB I have done that - Just copy them to your memory card then browse the file manager on the phone and install from there.

You can in the phone's settings itself tell the phone whether you want any data connections happening at all

Thanks for the quick answer.

So basically no matter what i do with the soft, i can revert back with a hard reset(or how its called). Right?

If yes, thats bad news for my spare time :) I like hacking.. I hope i will have no problems with Ubuntu and the phone. I dont have m$ products.

Cheers,
