Guest XtremeNL Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 (edited) Basicly, I actually like the samsung SMS app. Although it's mostly because my settings on the microsoft sms inbox keeps setting threaded to disabled, but still I'd like to be able to have windows use the samsung client to handle SMS, does anyone know how I would go about accomplishing this? (Or maybe how I would get windows to keep threaded sms enabled.) Edit: Right, apparently it was my fault for using the soft reset button after changing the registry settings instead of properly using the power button, it works properly now. (after taking quite a while to put the roughly 900 messages in threads). Edited January 3, 2010 by XtremeNL

Guest b7610_fan Posted January 2, 2010 Report Posted January 2, 2010 Can you work with the registry ? To enable threading: ;Enable threaded SMS [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\OEM] "SMSInboxThreadingDisabled"=dword:00000000 source: http://www.modaco.com/content/b7610-omnia-...msung-settings/

Guest Ariekanarie Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 (edited) I used this one now disabling the samsung sms app: ; Disable sasmung skinned app for SMS [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Sofware\Microsoft\Inbox\MsgTypes\IPM\SMStext] "DLL"="htmlnote.dll" When opening your sms via homescreen, you get the threaded sms in windows. when you use sms-mms via start, it is threaded via samsung theme Edited January 3, 2010 by Ariekanarie
