Replacement favourites app?

Anyone know of a decent replacement to the T-Mobile favourite contacts app? I've modded my brother's phone today and he decided to go for the Huawei vanilla ROM due to its flexibility with contact sync groups, but he liked the built-in favourites "carousel" view in the stock build.
